A lot of elmah.io users have tried signing up for a new account when signing in with the wrong social provider. When logging in with a social account not already known, we have always created a new elmah.io user which typically isn’t what the user intended. To avoid this, we have introduced a new modal that you will see if you log in with the wrong social provider going forward:

We released a new version (3.7.0) of the Elmah.Io.JavaScript package. The new version includes the following changes:

We released a new version (4.0.55) of the elmah.io CLI. The new version includes the following change:
sourcemap command to automate uploading source maps and minified JavaScript files to elmah.io. The documentation has been extended to cover the command and there’s a new section explaining how to upload source maps here: https://docs.elmah.io/sourcemaps/#upload-from-the-elmahio-cli.We released some improvements to Spike Detection, part of the plans with [Machine Learning] (https://elmah.io/ai/anomaly-and-bot-detection/) features. Spikes are now calculated based on a larger dataset to compensate for weekends with (typically) lower traffic. Let us know if you start seeing spike notifications that you didn’t expect or experience error spikes that don’t trigger a notification.
There’s a new Does not contain condition in the Add filter dialog. As suggested by the name, the condition will show log messages that do not contain the inputted value in the selected column:

deployment command to automate creating new deployments on elmah.io Deployment Tracking. The documentation has been extended to cover the command and there’s a new page explaining how to create deployments using the CLI on a build server: https://docs.elmah.io/create-deployments-from-cli/.--nologo paramter.We fixed a bug which would cause some instances of ignore filters based on the messageTemplate field to fail. With this fix, ignore filters can now fully utilize custom queries like this:
messageTemplate: "{user} says hello"
GitHub made a change in the way you need to provide personal access tokens for their API which will require a re-install of all GitHub apps on elmah.io. If you are using the GitHub app, please go ahead in re-install it on all logs.
We are looking into various ways of rolling this out automatically going forward, but for now, it’s a manual process.
We released a new version (3.6.0) of the Elmah.Io.JavaScript package. The new version includes the following change:
The Filter Chrome Extensions filter has been renamed to Filter Browser Extensions and now supports ignoring errors generated from both Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. With the filter currently enabled, only Chrome extension errors are ignored. To enable the new behavior, disable and enable the filter on the Log Settings page:

This is a minor change but I still want to mention it since a couple of people suggested this independently. You can now CTRL+click on the log boxes on the dashboard to open a log in a new tab.
