There’s a new integration in the elmah.io AppStore: ClickUp. ClickUp is a tool for project management, tasks, collaboration, automation, and more. With the integration, you can have elmah.io automatically create tasks in ClickUp when new errors are registered. Check out the documentation to set it up. The integration is currently in beta and we are very interested in collaborating with those of you who use or want to use ClickUp to get the best integration possible.

When having a lot of logs spread across multiple environments it can be hard to get an overview of which log is currently visible from looking at the menu alone. To help with that, we have introduced a small info “island” shown as part of the buttons in the top right corner of the log and organization pages:

We now show a warning on bounced emails on the Users tab on the Organization Settings page. This will make it easier for organization admins to see if wrong or expired users are still added to the organization:

We have improved the Deployments tab to show up to 50 recent deployments for those of you who release often. While changing this we also excluded ‘0’ metric badges on old deployments where we no longer have the data to calculate the metrics. In the past, deployments older than the retention period included in your plan would show all zeros. This could give a wrong impression of the quality of the deployment since the zero was caused by missing data and not the actual number for the deployment.

We released a new version (5.0.44) of the Elmah.Io.Extensions.Logging and Elmah.Io.AspNetCore.ExtensionsLogging packages. The new version includes the following change:
AddElmahIo on ILoggerFactory without an options object would cause a null ref. With ASP.NET Core 6 being almost two years old and 3.1 ending support last year, we have decided to move to the new configuration syntax for the documentation site and the docs inlined on app.elmah.io. This means that only a few docs contain references to the old syntax where ASP.NET Core where configured in a Startup.cs file with Configure and ConfigureServices methods.
As the only document, the Elmah.Io.AspNetCore instructions still have some examples of using the old syntax. But everything else has been ported to showcase the new syntax. Your websites are not required to use top-level statements to use the new syntax. Let us know if anything is unclear with the new code samples and we will consider to include some legacy configuration examples if needed. We still provide multiple samples for ASP.NET Core 3.1 (like this one) in case you need it.
